When did you start your radio career?
Officially, 1995. I got hired at ABC 5’s Kool 106.
How did you get into radio?
I dropped out of college. I worked for a “paging/radio station” in Shoppesville Greenhills from 1993-1995. Pay wasn’t that good, but who cares, The music was great ☺. Thank you CD WAREHOUSE hehehehehehehehe
How was your first boardwork?
In Greenhills, it was cool! In Kool 106, nerve-racking! In Magic 89.9, exciting! In Capital, hands down, the Best! ☺
Any memorable thing happened in your rookie year as a jock?
Plenty of bloopers, including leaving the Mic on and not playing RCs.
Did you have the full support of your family when you started out?
Yes and No. I didn’t tell my folks that I dropped out of school until I started working for KOOL 106. They wished me luck and were proud of what I have achieved, National radio.
When you’re not on air, what kind of music do you listen to aside from the 80s, 90s, and Y2K?
60s, 70s and the current stuff
